I read a status update – or maybe it was a post – from Michael Moore the other day about walking every day for 30 minutes. Not a new concept, I realize, but you know what? Why not? It gets me (and hopefully the family) outside in the fresh air for at least 30 minutes. It’s at least a bit of exercise, though perhaps not as vigorous as other workouts. Plus, you can get a dose of Vitamin D on a sunny day, and if you’re walking with friends or family – it’s some good bonding time. (If you’re going alone, it’s a nice bit of me time.) So, yesterday the kids and I went out, and today all of us went for a walk.
So, my suggestion for you is to get outside. Take a walk. 30 minutes – 60 minutes. No matter. Get outside.
